The end of the school year is almost upon us. ( 9 Days to go ) Yes I am counting. With this comes the endless activities organised by the school. Sports days, last minute school trips and even a summer fayre in included for us.
Yesterday, seeing as CeCe attends a faith school which is linked to our parish, we headed to their annual summer fayre for a fun filled family day. Though the day didn’t start off as we’d hope ( Ugh rain! ), it turned out to be an absolutely fun day. A much needed one might I add. There was lots of food, sweets and great company involved. You can even spot my sister in law in one of the images!
As a young parent, I am often judged by the other parents at CeCe’s school. Without talking to me they’ve already made presumptions. Due to this, I tend to just keep to myself and talk only when I absolutely have to. The summer fayre was a good way to network with these people and show them that their presumptions were actually incorrect.
I tried to dress as casual as possible but Sundays are my yummy mummy days. As I write, I’ve come to realise that I am decked out in Zara. The Leather Peplum Top, Light Indigo Body Curve Jeggings ( Similar ), Colour Block Heels and Reversible Bag (Similar ) are all from Zara. Its an addiction.
