Curls and Print

Is it just me or did this weekend just fly by? One minute it was Friday evening and the next thing I know its Monday morning. I guess thats what happens when its brimming with stuff to do.  The curls and print of this top dominated this week’s outfit.

My curls have been getting me a lot of question. Some of the most popular things I get asked about my hair are ” Is it real?”, “How do you manage it?” and “how can I get mine to look this way?” I am starting to think it may be beneficial if I introduced a haircare section on Joy to The World. I recently reviewed some natural hair products by Cantu and NXS International over on BrownBeauty that have really worked wonders on my hair.

I have been natural for just over three years and I haven’t had a weave in over two. Washing, moisturising and styling my hair has to be the most time consuming thing I do and even though it was on my list of things to do this weekend, I somehow didn’t manage to fit it in.

I have spoken about how I love having older sisters because I can always nip into their wardrobes. The top I’m wearing was kindly given to me by my older sister. I love the style of it because it comfortable and perfect for this summer. I still on the hunt for a nice pair of flared jeans so I can wear with my Dashiki sewn in a similar style. In this post, I am also wearing my new favourite jeans from the Zara Curve collection, with Orange wooden heels from H&M ( they look like swedish hasbeen dupes ). Accessories are the usual Daniel Wellington Watch and bracelet from Primark.
