LFW | David Koma A/W13

David Koma's show is one that I look forward to every Fashion Week. He is slowly taking the vacant position as my favourite designer. His use of sculptural shapes that accentuate the female body is one of the thing I love about him along with the fact that there is consistency in his work. By just looking at one of his pieces, you can tell the hard work that went in. His S/S13 collection was inspired by tennis and that was extremely visible in the pleated mini skirt, short dresses and coloured stripes. This season was inspired by music. Vinyl to be precise. This is visible in various of the pieces including the below which are my favourites. In addition, though he stuck to his trademark of black, it was nice to see some pop of colours including red and blue.
