Outfit | Out wit the old and in with the new..

There is something about Converse, Chuck Taylor or what ever you want to call them that gives an outfit some 'ump'. Whether its a dress or or a pair of jeans, dressing up or going casual Converse always look good.  I have always loved them and have gone through a few pairs. I even remember borrowing my sister's when I was younger. She had a variety of colours, black, green, pink you name it.
My thin soled white ones needed replacement and I chose to do that with the thick sole white ones which quite frankly are my favourites as they are such a classic pair.

Tatty Devine

If you haven't figured it out yet then I am sure this post will give it away. I am a sucker for jewellery especially quirky/witty ones.
I initially discovered Tatty Devine jewellery when the news broke that accessories store Clare's were copying their designs earlier this year. If you read my Diamond Jubilee : Fashion Buys you would have been expecting a post about this.

Tatty Devine is an independent jewellery brand set up in 1999 by two friends Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine who met at Chelsea School Of Art's Fine Art.

The brand is like no other and that is what I love them. They design and make majority of their pieces by hand which I honestly commend them for especially in this day and age. I truly believe this is one of the reasons the brand has been so success over the years
Their SS12 collection is vibrant and fun! *IMAGES BELOW*

Zip Bracelets

Chef turned jewellry designer Ashley Marshall's jewellery brand Azuni London fuses his passion for tribal and ancient art with pop culture and fashion.
His new collection of Gold, Silver and Black Zip Bracelets combine the right amount of quirkiness and trend.
S/S12 is all about the arm candy and these bracelet will look great stacked with other bracelets. I am not usually a gold jewellery fan but recently this has changed and I now have my eye on the gold one pictured below. Available at http://www.azuni.co.uk/ for just £60.

Sippin' on Gin and Juice

If you follow me in instagram or twitter, you would have seen this post coming as I tweet a picture stating that this weekend I will be sippin' on some Gin and Juice.

I was sent a bottle of Edgerton Pink Gin which I have been saving for the perfect moment before opening.

Before I start I just want to share a little fact with you all. I HAVE NEVER BEEN DRUNK *covers face and hides away* Almost 22 and never been drunk. (I know what kind of life have I been living?)
Don't get me wrong I drink alcohol. But after one of two I run the other way.

Edgerton Original Pink Dry Gin was the best-selling gin in Harrods last year and I can see why. The bottle is nice and simple plus the  pink makes it very feminine  it could give Rosé a run for its money as the next ladies drink. Distilled at 47% this drink really provides a real 'kick' and if you are a lover of lover ABVs then you may want to mix this with A LOT more of a non alcoholic drink.

When I received this bottle of gin I knew how and when I will be drinking it. I love cocktails but never tried cocktails made from Gin so I was excited to explore what I could make with my bottle of Edgerton Pink Gin.
To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, this very long weekend, I decided to open it
and start off with a really basic recipe like 'Gin and Juice'.

Recipe:

A shot of Gin
A glass of Tropical Juice ( you can use any juice)
A slice of lemon would have made this the perfect combination!

Stocked in Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Waitrose; The Ritz, The Savoy, The Dorchester and Claridges. It has an RRP of £35.00.

Drink Responsibly

Outfit | Sunday's Best

As a child, going to church on a Sunday with the family was always the highlight of my week because I get to play 'dress up'. I looked forward to it because I get to wear a pretty dress for the day. Since then, not much has changed really. Whenever, I manage to wake up on time to actually dress up, I go all out.
