Dreaming of a summer holiday...with Aspiga

Am I the only one dreaming of a summer holiday? Well, I hope not. 

The weather here in the UK is what can only be described in a word I do not wish to use. This summer has made me understand why people here get naked as soon as there is little sunshine because we have to make the most of it.

Immediately I saw these Aspiga sandals the first thing that came to mind was walking on the beach.

I love a brand that supports a cause and Aspiga is one of them. Set up seven years ago by Lucy Macnamara after a visit to Kenya,  the brand now has eight supplier there and also donates a percentage of their sales to The Brydges Centre which is a children's orphanage near Nairobi.

The brand has been revamped and their High Summer 2012 collection carries many beach holiday essentials like Kaftans, Sarongs and straw hats.
