Trend | Slipper

Ok so I may be a bit late with this post but better late than never eh? I have fallen in love with Slippers/ Loafer ( what ever you want to call them) and thought I should share with you. These ones are all from Topshop and the prices start from as little as £28.
I search above and beyond for the studded one but they were sold out every ( but were available on eBay for £50) so I got the Dalmatian Print ones instead.

What do you think of them?

Shopping | House of Holland Tights

Winter is here (not sure whether to Yay or Nay about that) so its time to stock up on all things hosiery. But Black Opaques are SO dull don't you think? I like my tights to be to loud and funky thats why I LOVE the House of Holland tights by British designer, Henry Holland.

The brand is a celebrity favourite with the likes of Fearne Cotton,Kourtney Kadashion, Agyness Deyn, Frankie Sandford and Pixie Lott all spotted wearing them.
Last Week Singer, Jessie J was announced as the face of the House of Holland for Pretty Polly Campaign

Event | Elle/H&M Network

When I saw that my Favourite store (H&m and my favourite magazine(Elle) were holding an event together I immediately registered for tickets! I was one of the lucky few who successfully secured a place for the event.
The event was an opportunity to meet the insiders of Elle and H&M and get advice on how to break into the industry, a chance to see the latest H&M collection, 20% off shopping and a lovely goody bag.
The event started of with nice cocktails and a lil bit of networking before Anna Ogundehin, Acting Executive Fashion Editor of Elle came on stage and gave a little talk on the latest trends and how she got into the industry.
After the talk, it was time to meet the insiders and ask all the questions we have. (I was so happy to be one of the first people to talk to Anna and ask her the all important question about the best way to secure an internship with Elle. Which she said is to have as much experience as possible AND she said a blog is a good way to start and to mention it on my CV)
One lucky attendee won a £250 H&M voucher and the chance to be one of the first in line for the Versace for H&M collection on the 17th of November 2011 (Wish it was me)
Here is what I wore to the event.....(P.S this was taken after, on my way home and I added my recently purchased jumper because it got really cold)

Shopping | Versace for H&M

When the  Versace and H&M collaboration was announced earlier this year, the Fashion world was in a frenzy . The wait is nearly over as the collection will be  launching in 300 stores worldwide and online on November 17.
"The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we've brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can't wait to see how H&M's wide audience will make these pieces their own," says Donatella Versace.
Here are some of my favourite pieces from the collection . Visit Vogue.com for images of the whole range.

Outfit | Zara, I love you!

Another Monday outfit here.
I am wearing my all time favourite Zara trousers which you guys are probably tired of seeing by now but it's so comfortable and because its black it goes with everything in my wardrobe. This is my fourth pair of these trousers. Every time I see it getting old I run back to get another. There is something about Zara Clothing that I just love. But its so frustrating because every time I go back they increase the price. I bought my first pair for £19.99, then it was increased to £25.99 and now it is £29.99. (please Zara, don't increase it anymore.)

Go dotty for Polka Dot!

Now I am not the biggest fan of Polka dot but I have been coming across it everywhere recently that I think I might have fallen in love with the print. It is a big trend this A/W. Unlike the traditional black and white this winter the print has gone very adventurous..... Polka Dots can be found everywhere from a fitted dress to tights or even your nails I found these images while doing my usual round on tumblr...what do you think of Polka dots? will you be wearing them?

Outfit | Girl meets Boy

Androgynous is a big trend this season so I thought I should give you my take on it.
Singer Janelle Monae is known for dressing this way day in day out but in B+W...
I have been wanting to share this outfit with you all since last week but there was no computer for me to use but here it is now. Better late than never.  Unlike Janelle Monae I had to have some colour in my outfit so I added the red necklace. I also got a bit carried away with the photo editor on my new laptop(sorry) What do you all think about it?....
